The Proposal
The Proposal - Styled Shoot 2014
The evening began at the rustic wine and hors d'oeuvres bar. Creatively made from two wine barrels and an antique door provided by Blush Creek vintage rentals, it made the perfect conversation piece. The bar was adorned with a mouth-watering selection of bread loaves, artisan cheese, veggies, and even chocolate drizzled bacon that were created by 3 Girls Catering. Golden light spilled through an enormous tree where a sparkling chandelier hung from one of the branches. Nestled underneath was where dinner was served at a long white farm table surrounded by mismatched wood chairs. Katie from Peace of Mind Event Planning used accents of mercury to style the tablescape which complimented the bouquets of bright blooms perfectly. Prime rib, lamb lollipops, and stuffed pumpkin contributed to the delicious feast.
The lounge served as the perfect backdrop to sip local beer and wine and was complete with a vintage upholstered sofa, teal colored settee, and pink velvet backed chairs. An antique railroad cart filled with milk-glass vases of varying heights and bright blooms added a big pop of color. Dried grapevine climbing a shabby white fireplace mantel served as a stunning display for the surprise proposal. Matt from Edwards Greenhouse designed stunning floral arrangements with shades of aqua blue, deep fiery red, and sunset orange that were used throughout the venue. A gorgeous white vanity featured an array of tantalizing desserts including seasonal favorites such as caramel apples. Flowers peeked out of the drawers offering brilliant pops of color. Behind the scenes was Raft Media Photography capturing these beautiful images as well as Boise Wedding Productions who was filming the video.
